I visited the Mramornica cave today with my family. My children, who are 4 and 6 years old, absolutely loved it! The girl at the reception/bar was extremely polite and helpful. We had to wait for 15 minutes before the tour started, but it was definitely worth it as the tour lasted for 40 minutes. The tour guide spoke both English and German fluently and provided us with many interesting facts about the cave. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. After the tour, we had the opportunity to indulge in a delightful wine tasting session since the cave is used for aging wine. The temperature inside the cave was perfect at 14 degrees. We are already planning to revisit the cave during our next trip to Croatia. We highly recommend the Mramornica cave! 😊

House of Two Saints
User reviews
The House of Two Saints, located on St. Maura Street in Porec, is undoubtedly one of the most fascinating architectural buildings in the area. Unfortunately, during our visit, we were unable to explore the interior of the building. The ground floor of the house features a semi-circular passage adorned with two single lancet windows above and a semi-circular finish. The facade itself is adorned with sculptures depicting two saints. The origins of the house can be traced back to the late 15th or early 16th centuries. It is worth noting that while the facade sculptures were originally part of an older structure, some historians speculate that they may have been remnants of the St. Cassian Monastery. However, this theory has not been officially confirmed. In 1936, the house underwent a restoration process and subsequently hosted exhibitions showcasing stone monuments, urns, oil lamps, and other ceramic artifacts from ancient times. These valuable pieces were all put on display for visitors to admire. However, shortly after World War II, the collection was relocated to the Heritage Museum of the Porec territory, which is housed inside the Sincic Palace. This museum is responsible for the preservation and maintenance of various buildings, cultural sites, and historical areas in Porec and its surroundings.
