A visit to Dubrovnik is incomplete without stopping by this place. We easily obtained tickets at the harbor and boarded the boat without any hassle. The island is well-marked with signs, making it easy to explore. There are numerous small cafes and stalls where you can grab a sandwich or a bottle of water. We even found a water tap where we could quench our thirst. Additionally, public toilets were available, although there were long queues. Personally, I particularly enjoyed swimming in the 'dead sea' lake and then relaxing by the sea. The lake has ladders for entry and there are spots for jumping into the water as well. Showers are also provided free of charge. Families with children will appreciate the presence of a playground, and for those seeking a bit of adventure, there is a somewhat steep walk up to the fort. Overall, it was a fantastic day out that caters to everyone in the family.

My wife and I visited the museum on a weekday, unaware of the Sunday folk festivals mentioned by other reviewers. Perhaps that's why we were the only ones there at the time. However, it's possible that more people would have come if the Cavtat tourist information centre had not wrongly informed visitors that it closes at 1pm - it actually stays open longer. Upstairs, we found the displays of textiles and costumes to be vibrant and colorful. The museum staff were very helpful and provided us with additional information without being intrusive. Although we don't usually watch video presentations at museums, we were glad we did here. The short film showcased an old way of life that likely persisted in this area longer than elsewhere.
