Accompanied by the host, guests can take a tour of the well-known winemakers in the wine road Plesivickoj and noble taste wines that offer a wide range of pleasures.

Plesivica Wine Road currently features some 30 wineries. Plešivica offers a broad spectrum of varieties—Graševina, Chardonnay, Rhine Riesling, Neuburger, Pinot gris, Pinot blanc, Gewürztraminer, Sauvignon, Zeleni Silvanac, Žuti Plavec.

Indeed, one wine deserves special mention: the Portugizac, the first wine of the season. This wine is a perfect accompaniment to chestnuts. Croatia’s Portugizac is quickly becoming what the world renowned Beaujolais is in France and the world, and its arrival on the market is cause for true wine excitement.

Following a lull, in recent years, the Portugizac is making a grand comeback on the Croatian wine scene, and it is no wonder that this is the first of the Plešivica wines to be promoted into a county trademark wine.
