Rovinj (Rovigno) – Rovinj is one of the Croatia’s most magical places.

A dewdrop-shaped isthmus contains a fascinating old town that just oozes caracter, while the 18th century ‘new’ town presents the perfect panorama of pastel façades.

Rovinj is considered by many to be the most photogenic, romantic and artistic of towns. The Baroque Church of St. Euphemia provides the town with its characteristic bell-tower silhouette. The whole coastal region, along with 22 islands, is a protected natural reserve, which can be seen in its entirety via boat.

The two-day felstival of  ‘Rovinjska noc’ (Rovinj Nights) held in the middle of August, makes for a special experience with its rich cultural entertainment and fine cuisine.
