This place is located in a remote area and it is quite interesting. It takes about a 30-40 minute car ride from Sibenik to get here. It has layers of history, ranging from pre-Christian times, Roman era, and the presence of various Slavic peoples. It even includes remnants from the war in the early 1990s. Some people consider it to be the most significant undeveloped historical site in Europe. However, there is one issue - there is very little or no signage or information available. Therefore, I would highly recommend visiting this place only with a guide. We hired a private guide for our trip to Krka Falls and incorporated this site (as well as the auto museum in Sibenik) into our itinerary. The guide was very knowledgeable and passionate, making the experience well worth it. If you decide to explore this place on your own, I do not recommend it as you will only see old walls, stones, and graves without understanding their historical context. However, if you go with a guide, you will be able to uncover hundreds of years of history and truly enjoy the experience.

It can be quite difficult to locate this place when driving. Follow the directions on your sat nav, but make sure to go past the official-looking 'entrance and car park' as well as the informal-looking 'free national park parking' in a lay-by.
