It was absolutely amazing to witness the majestic waterfalls. We had pre-booked a boat from Skradin, but it was easy to catch an earlier return boat without any hassle. We brought along a picnic and enjoyed our lunch while soaking in the breathtaking views. The only letdown was the fact that swimming in the pools is no longer allowed. This information was not clearly communicated, as the official map still displayed the bathing pool. However, we managed to have a refreshing swim after leaving the park at Skradin beach, where the water was crystal clear and there was plenty of shade.

Follow the directions on your sat nav, but make sure to go past the official-looking 'entrance and car park' as well as the informal-looking 'free national park parking' in a lay-by. Simply continue driving until you come across a yellow bridge, and that's when you'll know you have arrived. Once you reach your destination, you'll be amazed.
