This small yet remarkably compact memorial is a delightful tribute to the life of the remarkable Croatian inventor, Nikola Tesla. All of the buildings have been beautifully restored, including his birth house which provides detailed information about his life, as well as the church where Nikola's father used to preach. One of the highlights is the laboratory where visitors can experience the wireless transfer of electricity (please note that this may not be suitable for individuals with pacemakers or similar devices). Additionally, there is a visitor center offering a 20-minute video showcasing Nikola's extraordinary life. Amenities such as toilets, a souvenir shop, and a refreshment kiosk are also available. We particularly enjoyed the solar panel powered bench equipped with USB chargers.

Veliki Prstavac is located within Plitvice National Park and can be reached by walking for a few hours if you enter through gate 1, which is situated at lake Galovac. However, if you want to reach it faster, it is recommended to enter through Entrance 2. Please refer to the attached map for more information. Despite the effort required to reach it, Veliki Prstavac is definitely worth a visit as it is the second highest waterfall in the park, with a single drop of nearly 28 meters. If you enter through Entrance 1, you can also take a boat trip on lake Kozjak and then continue walking towards the upper lakes, where Veliki Prstavac is located. Try to visit during good weather conditions to capture stunning pictures. Unfortunately, the weather was bad during our visit, but hopefully, you will have better luck.
