This site is truly exceptional, and it will completely surprise you. It is absolutely worth your time, whether you are on your way to or from Plitvice. Alongside the road, there is a series of waterfalls that are truly breathtaking. Despite feeling somewhat tired after a day hike in Plitvice, and the terrible weather with constant rain, as soon as we stopped and laid eyes on these stunning waterfalls, everyone on our bus eagerly got off to capture the moment with their cameras. If you love nature, you will be amazed! I visited this place last summer and truly relished in the tranquility and unspoiled beauty of the surroundings. As you approach the summit, it becomes slightly more perilous as you have to rely on a cable, but don't let that discourage you. I certainly didn't! The view from the top, at an elevation of 1335m, is absolutely breathtaking! I felt an overwhelming sense of peace and happiness within me.

During the summer months, the water level in the Dobra river is quite low, but if you visit in spring or after a rainy period, the powerful sound of the flowing water definitely enhances the overall experience.
