I drove up to Fort Imperial and found the road to be a single track with several passing points, which made it a bit nerve-wracking. However, the good news is that there is a decent amount of free parking available at the top, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. While there is an option to take the cable car, it can be quite pricey for a family. On a positive note, there is a restaurant at the peak and a gift shop as well. Overall, I would say it is definitely worth the visit for the stunning views.

This bridge is a prominent feature when sailing in and out of Dubrovnik's Port of Gruz. It stretches over Rijeka Dubrovacka (River Dubrovnik) for a length of 518 meters (1,699 feet) and has a width of 14.2 meters (47 feet). The distance between the bridge and the water below is 49 meters (161 feet). This cable-stayed bridge connects the D8 State Road with the western approach to the city. The pylon that supports the cables stands tall at 141.5 meters (464 feet) and can be seen from a distance. It is named the Franjo Tudman Bridge, in honor of the first President of Croatia after the dissolution of Yugoslavia. He held this position from 1990 until his death in 1999. The original design for the bridge was created in 1989, but due to the Croatian War of Independence, construction was delayed. Finally, the bridge was opened on May 11, 2002. Although we did not drive over the bridge, we had the opportunity to sail by it, which, honestly, is the best way to appreciate its beauty.
